Color-It Simple Kids Now Available!
Color-It Simple Kids is now available on Amazon.com! There are 50 fun images to color.
A useful tip: If not using crayons to color, I suggest placing a paper or cardstock between pages, so the color won’t leak through to the next image.
Donations – Suggestions Welcome!
After compiling my COLOR CARE PACKAGES, I have been able to donate them to various charities or waiting rooms – for adults and kids to enjoy.
Each package is worth $10, so this is quite a good venture. Eventually, I am hoping to compile these packages for sale to others who would like to donate them, or to simply enjoy themselves.
Here is a list of places that I have donated to:
- Seattle’s Children’s Hospital
- Women’s Shelter
- After-school clubs
- Family dentist’s office waiting room
- Psychologist’s waiting room
- Amazon.com – Amazon Giveaways
Here is a list of places that I will soon be donating to:
- Nursing homes (Suggested by a friend. Thank you!)
- Pediatric waiting room
- Hopelink
Please feel free to offer more suggestions. Very much appreciated! Email to libby@coloritsimple.com
Kid’s Point of View
I was looking through one of the books I donated and came across this ‘colored’ picture. I love the originality of children and how they think outside the box. Or inside the box for this particular image!!
The original image on the left is from Color-It Simple Book #3 Image #10.
Larger, simpler pictures for those who read large print.
Donations are just as meaningful for givers as well as receivers
My Facebook post today:
On Monday, one of my daughters and I drove to a women’s and children’s shelter to donate 20 of my color care packages. I don’t want to mention the charity, but want to thank them for their genuine enthusiasm and gratitude.
Making these kind of donations makes me feel happier with the world and its difficulties. Making these care packages, knowing they are going to people in need, lightens my heart and makes me want to give more.
There are so many deserving people out there that rely on charitable donations. Circumstances may be very difficult, but I’m hoping my small contributions are a distraction from daily stresses and that these packages provide some measure of relief.
